The three things most essential for a great party are fun people, good music, and great food. Without any one of these and the party will fizzle out faster than an abandoned bottle of beer. Taking care of the essential food and fun people department is Jazz Forum’s own Gail Doner
Gail is top chef for Jazz Forum, preparing
delightful gourmet lunches for all the hungry music lovers in attendance. For $5
everyone can enjoy her fine dining experience, while taking in a jam session.
There’s a no host bar where you can get your beverage and Mary Ann Sereth
always turns out the “Killer Brownie” of all time.
Gail is no stranger to fine dining and the world of hospitality. There is no better host than Gail for our kind of party. Besides her superb skills as a chef she plays an important role in making everyone who attends our meetings feel welcome and comfortable. Her meals are very carefully planned and thought out in advance, sometimes she tests a new recipe on friends first, and because of her culinary improvisational skills she can be truly called “The Jazzy Chef” Gail has spent a lifetime in the employ of major restaurants and the wine industry and brings a tremendous talent and experience to the job. She has prepared sumptuous meals for as many as 300 people, no small organizational task, and has single-handedly created a citywide reputation for herself as the hostest with the mostest!
Menu for January is Gail's:
